“I photograph civil ceremonies in an informal, ‘reportage’ style. This means working quietly, unobtrusively capturing images that tell the story of your wedding day where possible without interruptions".

My Approach...

“I won’t keep you, your partner or your guests waiting for ages while I set up elaborate posed shots!

“There is of course a place for family shots at a civil ceremony as well as for some posed pictures of the couple, but these can be quick and unfussily achieved.

“Ideally I’ll spend the whole day from each partner getting ready, right through to the start of the dance in the evening.

“I have many years’ experience working as a professional photojournalist for national newspapers and magazines as well as on my own picture stories. As a result I’m good at blending into the background and capturing happy, poignant and funny moments as they happen".
